[Dublin, Ireland] Alltech, the provider of natural solutions for the animal feed industry, will host a series of seminars dedicated to reproduction and performance in pigs and poultry. The meetings will take place from 18-21 October 2005. International experts will convene at Alltech's European Bioscience Centre in Dublin, Ireland to present novel approaches to animal fertility.

[Arauc?ria, Brazil] - As part of Alltech's Latin American Lecture Tour, Alltech Brazil hosted a specific Symposium, entitled "Create Innovate Elevate", which took place from the 28th to the 30th August 2005. More than 400 people came to Alltech's new facilities in Arauc?ria, Brazil, where industry leaders discussed the challenges facing the animal feed industry.

Alltech is pleased to announce the tour dates for the 2005 Asia-Pacific Lecture Tour (APLT). This year's theme "Create Innovate Elevate" reflects the theme of Alltech's 21st International Feed Industry Symposium and will focus on the topic of Gut Health. The Tour will begin on Friday, November 4th in Colombo, Sri Lanka and conclude in Melbourne, Australia, on Friday, November 18th.

Speakers on the tour will include:

[ Lexington, KY] - Alltech has once again shown its commitment to furthering science with the formation of the Young Animal Scientist of the Year (YAS) award. Alltech has created the competition through Animal and Dairy Science departments at various universities throughout North America to promote research and talent. The program will provide a unique opportunity for undergraduate students to interact with one of the industry's leading players in the animal feed industry. It will be divided into three phases: university, regional and national level.

[Juneau, WI] - Alltech, a global animal health company, awarded Dr. Richard Weindruch the Wisconsin Progressive Science Honor on July 26th in recognition for his work on "Caloric Restriction and Aging." Weindruch is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a scientist at the Geriatric Research, Education and Clinical Center at Madison's VA Hospital. He also directs the National Institute on Aging and funded training program, "The Biology of Aging and Age-Associated Disease."
